Challenge
LifeLoop’s founders understood the emotional challenge many families face when a loved one moves into assisted living: limited visibility into daily activities and well-being. Families often feel disconnected from their loved ones’ experiences, while care communities struggle to communicate updates, events, and important information efficiently.
Although the founders had a strong concept and business plan, they lacked the technical strategy and development resources necessary to bring the product to market. They needed a partner who could not only build the software but also guide product strategy, validate user needs, and create a flexible architecture that would support long-term growth.
Approach
Aviture worked closely with LifeLoop to design and build a digital engagement platform while helping define the product strategy and long-term technology foundation. The engagement began with a discovery phase focused on understanding user needs through interviews, research, and persona development. These insights shaped the early feature set and ensured the product addressed real challenges for residents, families, and staff members.
Using a lean development approach, Aviture designed and built the initial MVP while establishing a cloud-based architecture capable of supporting multiple communities. Early prototypes were tested within assisted living environments, allowing the team to gather feedback quickly and refine the product roadmap.
