Empowering our community

Aviture strives to be an engaged member of our community. We partner with charitable organizations and take an active role in supporting their cause. From fundraisers for healthcare research to educational outreach programs, Aviture is committed to giving back to the community we call home.

JDRF leads the global research effort to find the cure for type 1 diabetes, and Aviture is committed to helping them create a world without T1D.

Since 2014, Aviture has been one of the top corporate fundraising teams in the annual Omaha JDRF One Walk. In 2019, we were the #1 corporate team, and we were inducted into the Walk Hall of Fame for raising over $100,000 to date. We love finding fun and creative ways to raise money for a vision we believe in and a cause we proudly stand behind.

We proudly support Girls Inc. in “inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold, through direct service and advocacy.”

By exposing young women to the world of technology, we help inspire growth and diversity with passionate and promising talent.

C.E.O. is a national collegiate organization that inspires students to become entrepreneurs.

Aviture works with the local chapter at University of Nebraska Omaha speaking at events each semester. In 2019, Mark Griffis, Aviture president, sat on a panel of judges for their annual pitch competition. (The winner is now in discussion to become a Garage company!) We also sponsored their students to attend the nationals conference in Fall 2019.

Aspire is an Aviture-led educational program for secondary and post-secondary students interested in development and technology.

Initially founded in 2011 as a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, Aspire has evolved over the years to include programs in local middle and high schools and summer courses at the University of Nebraska Omaha and University of Colorado Colorado Springs. The unique curriculum is created by various Aviturian engineers and is updated as needed to help promising young minds hone their skills and explore their talents.

Want to join forces to support a cause?

As a proud member of the Omaha community, Aviture is eager to give back and make a difference where we can.
